The CLEM project aims to transfer a model of Clustered Learning Environment (CLE), originally developed in Scotland and Finland, to small and medium enterprises, representatives of regional government, development agencies, regional chambers of commerce in the three least developed regions in eastern and north-eastern Poland. The objective of the project is to develop an innovative e-learning or blended learning training program focusing on cluster creation and development as an excellent and innovative stimulus of regional growth.
The CLEM project will aim at:

validation (through a one year-long pilot) of CLE approach through training and moderating knowledge exchange within the three clusters and by stimulating SMEs to share their experiences through a virtual learning environment (VLE), disseminating best practices in the area of establishing a culture of lifelong learning as a means to support growth and sustainability in emerging clusters in the underdeveloped regions.
